CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY

The therapist uses a light touch (no more than the weight of a nickel) to monitor the rhythm of the craniosacral system to detect potential restrictions and imbalances. The therapist then uses delicate manual techniques to release those problem areas and relieve undue pressure on the brain and spinal cord.It helps alleviate a range of illness, pain, and dysfunction, including Chronic Neck and Back Pain, Migraines and Headaches, Chronic Fatigue, Learning Disabilities, Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome (TMJ), and many other conditions. The client is fully clothed and no oil is used. See calendar

SHIATSU

Shiatsu utilizes manual and finger pressure to the body in order to prevent and help cure illness by stimulating the body's own natural healing abilities. See calendar

HYPNOTHERAPY

All Hypnosis is self-hypnosis. The hypnotherapist is simply the facilitator. Hypnotherapy is used to manage numerous medical and psychological issues. Hypnotherapy has been used to treat stress, sleep disorders, and mental health problems such as fear, depression, anxiety, and phobias. The techniques can help a person reduce overeating, stop smoking and overcome other addictive behaviors. See calendar

TOUCH FOR HEALTH

Touch For Health Kinesiology is a system which links traditional Chinese ideas of energy flow found in acupuncture and acupressure with Western style muscle testing. This idea is to bring about balance within the body by removing toxins, relieving energy blockages, reducing tension and enhancing the body's natural healing ability. You can learn how to use this wonderful technique by taking the TFH class which is listed in the class section. Touch For Health is taught in 4 levels. Each class gives you 16 CEU's. See calendar

THAI MASSAGE

The client lies (clothed but barefoot) on a padded surface on the floor and the practitioner applies firm pressure to specific acupressure points on the body using the hands, forearms, elbows, knees, and feet. Thai massage can be used to increase joint mobility and flexibility, relieve muscular and emotional tension, improve blood circulation, and increase vitality. Because it works the whole body Thai massage can also help restore body alignment and balance the major muscle groups. See calendar
