CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY
The therapist uses a light touch (no more than the weight of a nickel) to monitor the rhythm of the craniosacral system to detect potential restrictions and imbalances. The therapist then uses delicate manual techniques to release those problem areas and relieve undue pressure on the brain and spinal cord.It helps alleviate a range of illness, pain, and dysfunction, including Chronic Neck and Back Pain, Migraines and Headaches, Chronic Fatigue, Learning Disabilities, Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome (TMJ), and many other conditions. The client is fully clothed and no oil is used.

MERIDIAN STRESS ASSESSMENT
MSA is used to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of a person's energetic health and balance. This process involves measuring electrical conductivity at responsive points (acupuncture meridian points) on the skin, typically on the hands and feet. These measurements are recorded to help provide a profile of a client's present condition. According to European medical research, acupuncture points are related to the body's organs and organ systems. This system can help the client maintain the structural or functional integrity of important body systems.

HYPNOTHERAPY
All Hypnosis is self-hypnosis. The hypnotherapist is simply the facilitator. Hypnotherapy is used to manage numerous medical and psychological issues. Hypnotherapy has been used to treat stress, sleep disorders, and mental health problems such as fear, depression, anxiety, and phobias. The techniques can help a person reduce overeating, stop smoking and overcome other addictive behaviors.

TOUCH FOR HEALTH
Touch For Health Kinesiology is a system which links traditional Chinese ideas of energy flow found in acupuncture and acupressure with Western style muscle testing. This idea is to bring about balance within the body by removing toxins, relieving energy blockages, reducing tension and enhancing the body's natural healing ability. You can learn how to use this wonderful technique by taking the TFH class which is listed in the class section.

THAI MASSAGE
The client lies (clothed but barefoot) on a padded surface on the floor and the practitioner
applies firm pressure to specific acupressure points on the body using the hands, forearms,
elbows, knees, and feet. Thai massage can be used to increase joint mobility and flexibility,
relieve muscular and emotional tension, improve blood circulation, and increase vitality.
Because it works the whole body Thai massage can also help restore body alignment and balance
the major muscle groups.

SPORTS MASSAGE
Sports Massage combines classic and specific techniques designed to provide therapeutic impact for the unique physical and biomechanical needs of athletes whether they are champions or "weekend warriors". Sports Massage includes Pre-Event, Post-Event, and Restorative or Training Massage. For more information contact the Wellness Works Center.

CORPORATE CHAIR MASSAGE
Seated massage is a brief massage which is done while you sit in a specially designed portable massage chair. It lasts from 5 to 15 minutes and uses no oil and takes place with you fully clothed. It usually covers the head, shoulders, back, arms and hands. It leaves you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Studies prove that it decreases stress and increases productivity in workers.

REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology uses the principle that there are reflex areas in the
feet and hands which correspond to all of the organs, glands, and
other parts of the body. Reflexology uses the thumb, fingers, and
sometimes small tools to apply pressure to specific areas to
normalize physiologic functions in the human body.

REIKI
Reiki is an ancient Japanese technique that
works with the life force energy to bring the energy into balance.
The hands are used to touch areas of the body such as the major
chakras and parts of the body that may have stuck energies which may
have caused pain, illness or other maladies. Reiki can be used to
reduce stress and encourage relaxation.
